I have no excuse to post other than wanting to put that quote in the subject line.

I fear the new eps of Futurama will suck. That being said, I'll probably still watch (like I did the second and third movies). I am dying to know how they're going to deal with (or not) Fry and Leela actually smooching in the last seconds. They may pretend it never happened *cough* The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings*cough* or they could just go the route that would preserve the UST and make Leela decide that they aren't going to have sex. Simple as that. We'd get lots of Fry banging his head against the wall. I would laugh at this. Or, they could have her decide it was all just a big mistake. (The more likely approach that will cause my brain to explode).

Also, I have this scene stuck in my head for how it could all begin. We could open the series with them flying out of the Blackhole, and right into the army/police. Then a professor quote. Cue the theme song. I'd laugh.

So, apparently, RTD enjoys killing characters. I have to admit, since I already knew it was coming, I sort of found the scene funny. And what a wimpy way to go! (Says the chick who nearly died from pnemonia) Fastest working virus I've ever seen. No coughing/sweating/bleeding/puking? Well, as cheap goes...But, we did get the pay off for angsty Ianto/unfeeling Jack. I knew it was Jack who gave the kids up from the beginning. (not because of spoilers, just because I was like: Look! It's Jack! I think...)

The "We want a Pony" line from whichever part it was, kind of bothers me. Writing wise, it seems far too... easy? IDK. I almost feel like the whole pony schtick has been way overdone, and couldn't they be a little more creative? That was the part that I sat up and said, "Really?" It threw me out of the story, it bothered me that much.
